Your Data Rights

Virgo Command is built on the principle that your data belongs to you. Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and other applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

Your Rights

Right of Access

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. In Virgo Command, go to Settings > Data & Privacy > Export My Data to download everything instantly.

Right to Rectification

You can correct any inaccurate personal data at any time through your Profile settings or by editing records directly within any officer.

Right to Erasure

You can delete your account and all associated data. Go to Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone after the 30-day grace period.

Right to Data Portability

You can export your data in machine-readable formats (JSON, CSV) at any time from Settings. Your data is yours to take wherever you go.

Right to Restrict Processing

You can ask us to limit how we process your data. Contact us and we will restrict processing to storage only while your request is reviewed.

Right to Object

You can object to processing of your personal data for specific purposes. We do not use your data for marketing or profiling, so this right primarily applies to analytics.

How We Protect Your Data

Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
Zero-knowledge vault: Items in the Security Vault are encrypted with your personal key. We cannot read them.
No data sales: We never sell, share, or monetise your personal data. Our business model is subscriptions, not data.
Regional storage: Your data is stored in your nearest AWS region (EU data stays in EU).
Minimal retention: We only keep data for as long as you need it. Deleted data is purged within 30 days.

AI and Your Data

Lily and the intelligent officers process your data to provide personalised assistance. Your data is never used to train external AI models. AI processing happens in real-time and is not stored beyond what you see in your conversation history, which you can delete at any time.

Exercising Your Rights

Most rights can be exercised directly within the app through Settings. For formal requests or if you need assistance:

We will respond to all data rights requests within 30 days (as required by UK GDPR).
We will never charge a fee for exercising your rights under normal circumstances.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first — please contact us at privacy@virgocommand.com.
